Getting it started.

So it's been roughly a year since my last post. That's not the problem. The problem is that I have nothing to show from that year. I'm still at the same dead end job, still struggling to find a better one, and no closer to doing so. But it's not all gloom and rain, because I'm finally starting to get some ideas to paper.
